Proposal Intake Process
Please complete the online submission from using this link EM Submission Intake Form as soon as you become aware of a funding opportunity you would like to pursue. You do not need a Monday.com license to access or submit the intake form.
Once your intake form is received, I will assign a Grant Specialist (GS) to assist you with the submission process. Shortly afterward, you will receive an email from your assigned GS outlining the next steps and any required documentation.
Important Grant Submission Requirements
1. Required Training and Disclosures. Please ensure that all applicable training and disclosure requirements are up to date to avoid delays in the approval process.
Before the Office of Sponsored Research Services (OSRS) will approve a grant submission, the following training and disclosure requirements must be completed and kept current:
- Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training: Required once. [Access RCR Online Training] RCR Training Link
- Research Security Training: Due one year after completing RCR training and annually thereafter. Research Security Training Link
- Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) Training: Required every four years. FCOI Link
- External Professional Activities (EPA) Disclosure: Required annually. EPA Disclosure Link
2. Submission Checklist and Deadlines
Your assigned Grant Specialist will provide a checklist outlining the required documents and corresponding due dates for each of the three levels of OSRS approval. Please submit all requested documentation by the specified deadlines. Because the OSRS approval process requires time to progress through each level, delays in receiving the necessary documents may affect the overall submission timeline. Grant Specialists cannot be responsible for late or missed submission deadlines resulting from documents that are not provided in a timely manner.
