EMERGE summer research program accepting applications thru March 1

For a third year, our department is offering an exciting research program this summer known as EMERGE. We are accepting applications thru March 1.

Emergency Medicine and Emergency Care Research Guided Experience (EMERGE) is a six-week program, June 8th to July 17th, offered to medical students for an introduction to emergency care research and emergency medicine careers.

At WashU Medicine in St. Louis, students will be paired with emergency medicine faculty to complete an emergency care research project. Didactics focused on emergency care methodology and career pathways will be combined with shadowing opportunities. Housing and $2,500 in stipends will be provided.
