Congratulations to our long-time colleague, Randy Jotte, MD, who received the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Dr. Neville Grant Award for Clinical Excellence.
This prestigious annual award is in recognition of the late Dr. Grant who was a member of the medical staff for many years. During that time, he became known as an expert clinician.
The award is granted to a member of the attending medical staff who, through his/her daily actions, serves as a role model for other caregivers. Along with a few other Washington University physicians, Dr. Jotte was honored for:
- Delivery of superb clinical care.
- Exceptional compassion for patient and their families.
- Extraordinary respect toward colleagues and other caregivers.
- Mentorship of house officers and medical students in those professional and personal qualities embodied in an exemplary physician.
Dr. Jotte received his award at the spring Medical Staff Association Semi-General Staff Meeting. Some of our leadership team were in attendance to help support our amazing colleague.
Congratulations, Dr. Jotte! We are proud to have you as an extraordinary professional on our team.
