The EM Faculty Development team provides monthly didactic and skills-based sessions in addition to larger scale learning opportunities.

Linked below are the session archives as well as the event calendars for programs offered by the Department of Emergency Medicine as well school-wide sponsored faculty development opportunities.

Our faculty development program offers something different every month but typically follows the same rotating structure each quarter:

  1. First month: 60-minute didactic
  2. Second month: 90-minute skill
  3. Third month: 60-minute procedure lab at your own pace

Participation is voluntary (but highly encouraged!) unless otherwise specified like our Airway Program. Based on a previous survey of faculty preferences, we offer each session on three different dates, in three different weeks, at three different(ish) times to maximize your ability to attend:

  1. First Wednesday from 0900-1000 (didactic or procedure lab) or 0900-1030 (skill)
  2. Second Thursday from 1600-1700 (didactic or procedure lab) or 1600-1730 (skill)
  3. Third Tuesday from 1530-1630 (didactic or procedure lab) or 1530-1700 (skill)
