Dr. House’s research interests range from basic science investigation to translational and clinical research on acute cardiac injury. Her primary focus is on mechanisms of injury and cardioprotection in acute myocardial infarction. She is currently using genetic models to study the role of fibroblast growth factor signaling in the response to injury and cardiac repair process. Additionally, she is conducting clinical research on cardiac biomarkers in acute coronary syndromes.
